Project Lead The Way -Begins on Nov. 21st

We will start Project Lead The Way on November 21^st with Mr. Moger. We are very excited! This will change our daily schedule a bit. PLTW will be taught in our classroom for one hour 4 days a week.

Haisley Turkey Trot-Friday Nov.18th

The Haisley Turkey Trot & Food Drive

~All Haisley students, families, and faculty are invited to participate in this year’s Turkey Trot & Food Drive~

Friday, Nov.  18^th - 8:20 am

The “Trot” is around the Haisley back field. The first turkey “leg”, Grades K-2 at 8:25 will be one lap.

The second turkey “leg”, Grades 3-5 at 8:35 am will be 2 laps.

Please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to those in need at a local food pantry. (food collection will be at the playground)

*Because this is not during school hours, there will not be staff supervision. Please remain with your child during the entire event until the 8:45 arrival bell.

UMMA Field Trip

Our field trip to the University of Michigan Museum of Art was phenomenal! The students learned so much about how to read art.

Math-Multiplication and Division Strategies

This week we learned about what it actually means to multiply and divide. Here are the concepts we learned! The students also learned how to solve story problems with multiple steps.Over the next 2 weeks, we will focus on memorizing the 3 tables for multiplication and division.
