Today we had Gary Ghareeb from the Native American Experience visit us at Haisley. Mr. G taught us about the people of the 3 Fires-the Ottawa, the Pottawatomi, and the Ojibwe tribes. We learned how they moved around Michigan in order to live and survive depending on what season it was. Mr. G also shared cooking tools, clothing, games, and hunting tools with us. You can see in the pictures just how much we enjoyed this!
